    Hi All
    my wife and i have started up new buisness its mobile coffee buisness we sell specialiaty coffee such as cappachino,latte,mocha,hot chocolate etc and lots diff types also soft drinks tea danish pastries and muffins. we have some booking for events during year but to be honest finding it hard to get in places as seems to be a closed shop with franchises and that.

    was wondering if any1 knows how i could get more bookins to events races, matches,shows, anywhere we will travel and dont mind paying our fee into these places??

    Have a look at www.aoifeonline.com - this is the website for the Association of Irish Festivals. Apart from biggies like St. patrick's Festival, it's members are all sorts of smaller regional festivals too - have a look at it and contact the individual festival organisers to fnd out who looks after their concessions. The smaller ones probably do it themselves whereas the larger ones sometimes use an agency to look after it for them.

    In relation to match fixtures, I wouldn't bother with the likes of Croker & Landsdowne as big catering companies have the contracts there - instead, hit up some of the regional GAA pitches, etc who might have a need.

    Also find out where the local weekly markets are held in your area. Have a look at these sites for useful info :

    From what I've read and been told, there's a lot of competition for casual street trading spots, and apparently the events catering is done on a rotational basis - but again it seems getting a slot somewhere could take ages.
