Does anyone know where Michael Bradley is going to now after leaving connaught? Has he a position to fill?

Another question i always wasnt sure of is - if all Irish players playing pro in Ireland are contracted to the IRFU, who decides to let them join another provincial team, like Boss moving from Ulster to Leinster?

It's funny,Conn fans on here seem to hate him, the media seem to love him.

Even with the strong finish to his final season and a couple of decent seasons at the beginning of his tenure, his reputation took a huge blow in the four years in between. Even with his contacts he's extremely unlikely to get a head coach role at any top team in England or France, he might get a role in the lower divisions in England or France, Worcester maybe? Would he be willing to take a job as second in command. A back office job in the IRFU perhaps, he won't be going hungry anyway but either way I wish him all the best in the future

    Managing Trevor Brennans bar maybe?:)

    If Bradley ran Brennans Bar:
He would only put the good bar staff on targetted nights. The rest of the nights he would mark down as a loss and just put out all of his worst bar staff together at the same time. Other than that then he would ruin a few quality local bar staff by not giving them work time to learn from his better bar staff. and when everything went belly up he'd blame his boss for lack of resources, rather than been pro-active about it. After a while he would move home and arrive in every now and again to show his face, and leave one or 2 of his management team to run the pub. Although he would be happy to take the credit if the pub got to the second tier european pub championship semi-final.

In the past, transfers have been vetoed. Paddy Wallace to Leinster yeeeeeeeears ago mar shampla.

Truthfully, I've no idea how it's run, but it's very rarely top tier players.

Was there any truth in the talk that Alan Quinlan was meant to replace him as player/coach only for Munster to offer Quinny a better contract? I only heard that today but it's old news.

I did hear something along the same lines. But I think it was meant as Quinny to become an assistant coach under Elwood or something like that. Would've been an excellent place for Quinny to wind down his career

Quinny seems to be munster's best forward these days

he'll go where-ever his father in law gets him a job!

the Players Advisory Committee is an IFRU Committee with 3 members (munster, Leinster and Ulster) who basically sign off on all signings made by provinces.
yesterday Thornley was saying they were stipulating that if Munster are going to sign a prop this summer he'd have to be irish qualified.

Power of PAG is shown in SImon Easterby's failed move to Leinster 5 or 6 years ago, he wanted to sign, his mother was a dub, his brother was playing here and Leinster wanted him, however PAG decided he should play for Ulster, so he opted to stay at Llanelli

Do they decide on Connacht's signings too? When Connacht aren't even a member?

Connacht are a member, they just dont have the power to get a branch member onto the Players advisory Committee
