Can't believe that there isn't a thread for this programme already (maybe there is and it didn't come up on the search function). I've just discovered it and immediately discovered how hilarious it is.

It's a very simple setup, two parents, three precocious kids in a London suburb somewhere. A lot of it is improvised, apparently, and basically deals with the everyday stresses and strains of modern family life. The kids, though, are the genius part, evil geniuses in fact, who are imaginative, overly honest, violent (especially Ben, the 9 yr old), obssessed with asking their parents 'what if...' questions.

Line of this week, among many others, was when his mother tidied up Ben's room, Ben discovers this and comes down stairs to protest...

"What the hell have you done with my room, it's full of .......floor."

Seriously, do yourself a favour, check it out....BBC, Thursdays.

I've only started watching it this series, missed it last week.

But yeah it's always very funny and the simple set-up works very well.

The children are brilliant. You'd want to slap all of them ;) and the parents too for being so laid back. But it works really well. Ramona Marquez is a little star.

One of the best sticoms on atm.

Love this show. Have watched it since series 1.
If you haven't seen the earlier episodes, you should try watch them. Its great because a lot of what the kids say is totally improvised, so the adults have to work around it. Watched an interview with them on Jonathon Ross a few weeks ago. The parents said they have a general script but the kids can just deviate from it & go off on tangents if they want.

Yeah, watched it since series 1 here too... preferred the earlier series to be honest

Ben is becoming increasingly annoying for me now though, but Karen's still amazing

The new brunette girl in it is very hot.

I'll probably tune into the first series. Quality viewing.

The child who plays Karen is such a good little actress - really natural.

You'd want to sell those children if they were yours, especially Ben, but I love them.

It will need some brilliant scriptwriting when the kids are older because the won't be able to do it the same way they do now, by just letting the kids talk about whatever.
