I gave my windows partition too little space when I installed linux. I need to double it's space. How do I go about this? Cheers.

Easiest way is to boot up the ubuntu live cd and run gparted.

Back up everything first, don't say you weren't warned.

    Hi,
    that's not enough information unfortunately.
Can you log in as root under linux and post up the output of the command
    fdisk -l
That'll show what the space next to your windows partition is being used for.
If your linux partition is right afer the windows one, it may be more complicated to resize. You'll need to resize the linux partition first leaving the free space immediately after the windows partition before you can extend the windows filesystem into it.

I've used gparted live cd in the past and it worked fine for me. current live cd is 120MB. gparted-live-0.5.2-9.iso
