Hello, just have a quick query about Widnows 7,

I bought a student version of Windows 7 in Febuary to try and improve my laptop's (Vista) performance. Installed fine but the computer kept giving me hassle so I sent it back to be repaired. Repaired computer arrived back last week and I reinstalled Windows 7 but I'm unable to activate it. Every time I try, it says I'm unable to use the product key.

Should I ring Microsoft or am I wasting my time (can a new version of 7 be installed only once?)

You just have to do the automated phone activation. Its not to bad to do and is free if you use the toll free number.
