I have a field rotivated at the moment. A guy in a shop I was in told me not to spray it once it is black. I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this?

I'd have thought that you'd spray BEFORE rotavating. Not much poiunt in doing so afterwards.

How long is it rotovated? If it was only done recently and there's no re-growth then spraying is a waste of time and money.

It's only done recently. Won't the weeds grow back up through the ground if they're not sprayed? The rotivating seems very light, a lot of the weeds are still visible on the ground

If the weeds aren't growing the spray won't work. What was it rotovated for? Reseeding?

you need leaf and a growing plant for the spray to work, unless you use a residual herbicide but doubt it would suit grass ground if thats the plan,
