Just a quick question. If you head down to Dolphin house to get a protection order is it granted on the day or are you given a date to come back ? Thx

You would normally get an "Interim Protection Order" which has he same effect as a Protection Order.

This will last normally for a month or so depending on how busy the courts are, until a full hearing to decide if you will be issued a Protection Order
