Amazon MP3 App

So i've seen a few people here posting that they have downloaded the amazon mp3 app on rooted phones/uk sims. Has anybody actually got it to download songs though?

I downloaded using a UK Sim, set my phone's locale to uk, but can't actually get anything to download. First it told me to check my address and payment details on amazon website. I turned on the 1 click thing, gave my credit card, no joy. I started to put it UK postal addresses, but not having any I used one for a bank in London or a fishing shop in Durham.

It didnt get me any further. Instead of asking me to check details, it just said couldn't download as content not available.

Could it be the address still - when I put them in, clever little amazon could identify and match them to the real life stores in those locations.

    Anybody get this working?

I am one of those people that downloaded the Amazon mp3 app using a UK sim.

I had similar problems that you describe and took me a few goes to get everything set up on Amazon right before I could actually download a song. I don’t think setting your phone to UK using locale is necessary (I never did that).

I have a few cards stored on Amazon, so had to make sure I assigned the card I needed as “1 click” and had to make sure the billing address was my UK address. The difference for me might be that I actually have a UK issued credit card with a UK billing address. Maybe Amazon confirms the cards billing address matches (with the bank?).
