Hey guys, here's a little question for yaz, What's the best commuter car to buy at the moment second hand for under €5,000. This is for my brother who lives in lucan and commutes to town(dublin), and big concern of his is the fuel economy, at the moment he's driving a '95 peugout 405 estate deisel, which he says does 50mpg.
What kind of cars are out there that can match, or even beat that rate. I hear peugouts and citreons are the best deisels around.

If he's getting 50 mpg he may aswell save €5000 and keep what he has.
