Anyone here have money in Rockhopper today? They hit a duster a few weeks back and plummeted. Then due to the general down trend in the market they dropped more the last week. Was only thinking about buying some of them and DES last night so pretty sickend looking at the rises from the two today.

Rockhopper hit oil in the falklands and DES who are tied to them rose 62%

Its crazy Rockhopper have gone from 37p to 234p. Another 60% rise on them today. I bought into DES at 65.5p last friday and have made just under 50% profit on them so far. Knowing when to sell now will be a tough one....

Well it wasn't. It's been rising steadily since. Up over 30% today. SP £3.15 now.

Possibly too late for RKH but Falkland oil and gas (FOGL) are set to drill shortly in the same neck of the woods and are still a good value bet:cool:
