KNOCKED OFF SIGNAL

    i knocked off the signal on my sky+ box. i hit the dish wit a ladder walking past it. now i have notting and sky want 100 euro to come out and fix it. not happening . anyone have any ideas please.

    I'd say your dish is out of alignment, you'll have to realign it yourself if you're not going to pay them

    i was told you cant do that with these dishes cos they have to be done with a machine. what do i do

    No you can use the signal strength meters on the sky box if you set it up near enough the dish or you can get one of those cheap satellite meters that beep when you are pointing at a satellite. There's loads of guides on this forum if you use search you should find some more advice

    thats bull ****. its not that hard. pick up a cheap sat finder and do it yourself.
