I have a 05 Accord i ctdi, and the last couple of days it's begun to idle irregularly, only very slightly but noticeable all the same.

It just drops for a half second or less and then comes back up.

But also, it has cut out on me twice in the last few days, while I've been slowing down, maybe at about 20-30kmph and moving down the gears, in 2nd both times I think.

Anyone any ideas? Are these related? Was thinking the cutting out may be down to a loose connection but I can't spot anything amiss in the bay..

I had the same problem with an 02 A4. Problem with a idle control sensor. At least that is what I was told, happened the week I had the car on trial so garage fixed it.
