    Matt Cooper?

Is that like some hybrid of Anderson Cooper and Matt Lauer?

It was a 10 minute section on Facebook and their crappy commitment to privacy. There were a couple of plugs in there for Boards during the interview. Well done, Daragh! You conducted the interview like a seasoned pro.

Why does that Cooper fella keep calling him a communications manager? Fecking lazy tv3 researchers.

    That's actually Darragh's title. :)

    That's Dav, innit?

    That's Dav, innit?

    Yep.

Initially they were both called Community Managers but the current titles more accurately reflect what they ended up doing as their jobs settled down.

There's still a huge overlap between what they do, though. They both do "Communications" and "Community" work, just the balance is a little different.

It's a little similar to the way myself and Ross work. Both of us can cover everything that the other does, but there are some things that I leave to Ross and he leaves to me because we know the other person will do it a little quicker or a little better.

Darragh is on Matt Cooper show again right now, he's made it!

Darragh is the go-to guy these days in media land for internet related topics.

This is a Good Thing, as it brings much indirect publicity this way.

The guy knows his onions as well, it's always interesting to hear him contribute.

Honest feedback here. I was in the dentists waiting room yesterday evening and Cooper was on the dial. The discussion came up on facebook but I missed the introductions with the background chitter chatter. My impression was this guy sounds very stilted and rushed in his delivery. Research didn't seem to be top of the agenda either. It was only at the end that I learned it was Darragh Doyle from boards. I guess these things will improve with further practice.
