Don't know about the Belkin ones but I have Devolo plugs for a VoIP phone and they are rock solid, only adds about 3ms latency, about 6.6 megabytes/sec throughput when not in surge protectors. So they'd be fine for gaming too.

they are the best option but i would choose a more reliable brand. think: get what you pay for..
