I got a couple of old fountain pens valued and wondering if there was a place in Dublin I could sell them. Don't really want to go down the EBay route and some are pretty good.

This is not the forum for that. See if you can find one that specialises in antiques.

I got a quill last year. They're a pain in the backside to write with :)

I would love to get a real quill. We got to use one as part of a module in college and it was so much (messy) fun.

They actually sell quill fountain pens - a dipping fountain pen with a feather at the end. For those of us who like quills but can't actually use them. I love mine. I know it's neither one nor the other, but it's fun.

OP, Collectibles & Antiques under the Rec tab might be your best bet for advice (although I've never visited the forum, so I am going on title alone). Best of luck though!

    Try selling it on Adverts.ie?

    Hi miss choc.
If you want to try sell them directly, try http://www.adverts.ie/ as suggested. Otherwise, if you're looking for information on shops that might purchase them from you or markets where buyers might be interested, collectibles and antiques might be your best bet.
