need help at god of war 1 on ps3

    this is in pandoras temple got one sheald but need help on the 2nd one

    More importantly, there is also a lever that drops down a long rope into the abyss below. From the ledge right in front of the lever, jump to grab onto the rope and then slide down into the pit below.
    the game will not let me do this
    eg pull the lever i am sanding at it and prassing r2 and noting it happing

    need help fast

    Yeah, the second shield is right down that rope.
    Can't understand why you can't grab onto it.
    AFAIK you just walk off the ledge without jumping and Kratos should catch onto it.
