Hi just wondering what people think of <snip> clinics? I had an appointment today and was quoted €85 for a filling I need 3 of them. Also I was told that I grind my teeth and may need a night guard to protect them. I go to my dentist every 6 months and this is the first time I have been told that I grind my teeth so when I was told this it came as a surprise especially as I was told its 200 euro for the guard. I recently moved to dublin hence why I went to <snip> and not my old dentist at home. Maybe I should go back to him for a second opinion? Any ideas? thanks.

If you are unhappy with the first opinion you received then it would do no harm to get a 2nd opinion. Your own dentist would know you best if you have been there regularly but you could try any dentist that is convenient. The prices you mention seem about average for Dublin for a standard filling but may be more or less depending on size and type of material
