    Right,

need a little help on this one.

Background: First week on a three day week this week :( anyway, Monday was a bank holiday so a bit of an awkward one.

We were sent a clarification letter by the Hr dept (below) and because my days are Thursday and Friday off, i thought i was ok not to come into tomorrow, but on the way out the door the receptionist said "I thought you still had to work the 3 days".

Have a look at this below and tell me should i be going in to work tomorrow:
For public holiday - payment will be calculated based on statutory/legislation requirements, with the following local options available:

    Option 1:

In a week where a bank holiday occurs, a person opts to be rostered NOT TO WORK on the bank holiday. They then work their normal week (3 days, or 4 days, etc.) and are paid an additional one fifth of their normal (reduced) weekly salary for the bank holiday, paid through payroll.

    Option 2:

In a week where a bank holiday occurs, a person opts to be rostered TO WORK on the bank holiday. They then get a paid day off for the bank holiday and thus work one day less in that week.

I thought im in Option 2 because i should be working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

The normal working week is Monday to Friday
