For some reason today when I try to log in to the back end of my wordpress blog, I can't. I input my username and password and clock Go but it just hangs at a blank white screen. The blog itself works fine

I have no idea how to tackle this, anyone?

Check your site error log for some clues.
Can you access the database via phpMyAdmin or similar? See if any of the "wp_options" table looks wrong, especially the "siteurl", "blogname", "home" entries. They might have been changed by a hacker.

Thanks. Ok I contacted my host and they said a plugin is causing lots of errors:

[Thu May 06 14:42:33 2010] [error] [client 81.17.243.201] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/pem/vhosts/114540/webspace/httpdocs/xxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/ajax-comment-posting/ajax-comment-posting.php:17) in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/114540/webspace/httpdocs/xxxx.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 665, referer: http://www.xxxx.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xxxx.com%2Fwp-admin%2F

How do I go about deleting this manually?

You can delete it by FTP from the /wp-content/plugins folder.
