The meeting with Ryanair will take place at 3.45 pm. This will be followed at approximately 5pm by a meeting with representatives from Gluas, an organisation from Galway campaigning for a Luas-type light rail service for Galway City.
Deputy Fahey said: “The Gluas working group came into existence in 2007 to lobby for a light rail system for Galway. This meeting will provide them with an opportunity to outline their vision for a light rail system Galway City, as well as providing details on projected costs and likely routes for the service.”
