I didn't know there was a cheap service pack, the only pack i've heard of is 5yrs/100k kms free servicing for €1000.

maybe thats what it was, I don't think it was entirely free though, only fluids and filters I think they said. Only found out about it by accident when I went to a dealer to ask about the extended warranty when I got the car and they told me the previous onwer had opted for it. I have the details at home somewhere anyway, will check it.

Actually, I think there may be two - the Service Pack and the Service Pack Plus. I know my mother has the plus, it covers discs, pads, wiper blades etc. Everything bar suspension components, as I recall.

You know what they say "If you have to ask how much it costs..."

"Then good for you because you don't own a failed construction company now owned by NAMA"

I'm glad I own a low maintenance car that I can service myself!

Funny thing is anything except an M3 or an M5 is a dawdle to service for any competent person, the general concensus is that ze Bimmers are too complicated for the Joe Soap.

next one up is the 50k km service so bit more than just oil :) The vouchers got 2 years on it so if the current one work out cheap I can keep it for a future one, especially if when something like the brake pads need to be done.
