MacBook arrived yesterday, and I love it, still getting to grips with it, but I'm sure this is the start of a long relationship! :-)

I love the polycarbonate case, but, I have a slight OCD with finger prints! I'm constantly polishing my iPhone to get rid of smudges and what not!

Is there anything I can get to keep my mac shiney and white all the time?

Put it back in the box and never open it again? :)

I forgot to mention, apart from the obvious 'don't touch it'

Someone I was in college with had something like this on his MBP. I bought one as well and it's kept the palm rest area of my Macbook (2007) fairly clean. I'll be taking it off at some stage as I need to get the case replaced due to the crack. Should be interesting to see what it's like underneath, probably a bit sticky.

I picked up a jivo case on Harvey Norman yesterday, a neoprene one I can keep it in while i'm in transit with it!

Thanks for the eBay link, lots of nice stuff there at okay prices!

I can't really afford a MBP at the mo, and it's my first mac EVER, so the MacBook will do me just fine! If I get a few years out of it I'll be laughing, I'll upgrade to the pro then.

Everything is just so easy on it, OSX is fantastic, must be a lot coming from a windows user for the past 15 years!

you really won't need to upgrade for some time. Mac's seem to suffer from less upgradeitis than PC's.

As regards fingerprints - you need one of these:

I'm only really using it for traktor pro, using an external soundcard, and a vestax midi controller, and I've already noticed one or two glitchy moments!

Really don't want that happening in a club to be honest, so I might just up the ram for the sake of it!

Always a good idea - I've 2 Gig in both my Macs and 4 Gig in my work machine.
