Anything in stonewashed/bleached denim - if it didn't look good in the 80s, it's not going to look good now

I think they could be deadly with the right shoes and outfit. You;d have to have perfect legs though.

This thread has sooo much potential! :pac:

Ok I'm often baffled by mainstream fashion (ugg boots, skinny jeans, leggings and nearly all the other horrible memories I repressed from the 80s etc) but seriously what the hell did I miss here?

Jesus christ those a things are so manky!

Also nu rave is so vile words fail me, its like they try to look ugly on purpose, I also find it really pretentious looking.

Jaysus they look like the skin's been peeled off to reveal someone's insides. Those type of tights are never right.

    Phasers those trousers are shocking.

I also think that silver dress is horrific.. if it doesnt look well on a model, what hope do the rest of us have! Maybe if it was a different colour... Actually no, still bad!

Honestly most of the dresses in the asos outlet shop are pretty awful though.

So I have a couple of these.
Not just products I regret buying, products that I would talk somebody out of buying even if there were a cent a pop.
    To start off:

    Urban Decay Big Fatty.
*Leaks like a colander when my eyes water even the smallest bit. Instant KISS eyes.
*Stings like shampoo when it gets in my eyes.
*Brush is the size of a lions paw, spend ages to get the outer and inner lashes to no avail.
*Makes lashes look longer? A little. Thicker? Nope. Curl? Nope. Separated? Awh hell naw.
    *Pricey as hell.

I just can't stand this, by all means give it a go yourself, but if I was all powerful this would be off the shelves like that.

Anybody else got a product that they think should never have been put to market? I like being warned off things before I get over excited and run amok with boots points :)

I know they've improved but I'll add most mousse foundations to the list. I've never been happy with the way they blend on my skin so I've given up on them.

Oh yeah, I've never seen them look nice on anybody.
I'm adding in Beauty Marked by MAC because its so gorgeous in the pan, and then hideous swatched.

Ok I made quite a few mistakes with Sephora recently.

NARS Firming Foundation: The shade is ok, but this is just so difficult to blend with fingers. It shows up all my pores and i find the foundation seems to migrate into a patch. I really want to like this product, but really dont know how to use it....i am using my fingers...just not working.

NARS Sheer Matte Foundation: Ok this I could actually blend fine on skin and was nice. But I got Barcelona colour which is way too yellow for my fair pinky skin..but it looked totally different in shop. Finally this week (2 weeks too late) on their website they give more of a description of what skin its suited for. Before it was just Light 1, 2, 3, 4, Medium 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on. Now they actually say light to medium, or asian skin etc. So I didnt like this one because it was very light coverage and it was very difficult to get a good match compared to any other company. Their foundations seem to look totally different in shop and at home.

Urban Decay Lip Primer: Wanted to like this idea...but it turned my lips green when I was drinking red wine...not a good look.

Urban Decay Surreal Mineral Foundation in Universal: This was actually ok. Slightly reduces redness and great for in the mornings going to college when I dont want to put on a proper layer of foundation. Its difficult to see product....which I suppose is a good thing. But still not so sure about it.

ugg boots and skinny jeans. Nobody looks good in either. Hideous looking.

Those ridiculous croc shoe things...I wouldn't care if a guy was as hot as Johhny Depp...if he owned a pair of crocs that'd be that.

Fake Tan. If it was never invented then maybe millions of girls would stop throwing money at such a false stinky product that makes them look like clowns.
Girls might accept their natural pale beauty more and stop obssessing over being tanned.

Skin coloured tights - hideous, just hideous!!

^ Yes, I agree with all of them. Especially skin coloured tights, yuck.

I'd like to add vibrating mascara of any brand to the list of products that shouldn't have been invented.

You'd need the hand of a brain surgeon to be precise enough with it, and even then I get a better result when its switched off.

When will I ever learn to resist the gimmicks!!!

Knee socks. I don't get this whole miniskirt and knee sock trend. You don't look sexy, you look like a child.
