Would really like to know whether the phone will work on the 3 network. I have heard horror stories of people having problems with 3g on the phone, I would just like to know if this is the case.

Anyone have any issues with the htc hero, I am very interested in buying the phone.

The Hero works on 3 i've used a sim free one, no problems with 3G reception, I know 2 of my friends are using it on meteor and they've had to turn 3G off. Problem could be just confined to meteor.

The htc desire is due shortly on 3 if you haven't already got a hero, they also have the samsung spika which runs android.

Ok but for how long did you use the sim in it for? I heard that it works great at the start and loses connection after a couple of days.
