    Hi folks

I want to get a small light laptop with an internal DVD drive. Obviously, I want to spend as little as possible but €700 would be doable.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

I like the new asus netbooks and laptops they seem to all of them come with seagate hard drives and good solid hardware .Dell and Hp etc are only making them for 3 years but Asus for time been are trying to increase market share so i trust them .Why not buy netbook and get external usb dvd writer on ebay ?They only cost around 30 euro on ebay ya know .

    Cheers Patrick.

It's just that travelling on planes I'd like to be able to watch my own DVDs and the external drive is just a bit of a pain (yes I don know that I have little enough to worry about).

Compress your DVDs on another PC/laptop and transfer over to netbook hard drive.
