This has probably been covered a zillion times,
Trying to buy items on Amazon.co.uk and it keeps coming up that it cannot ship to my address! Does anybody know why this is happening or how to get around it?
Its only software and a camera lens but its bloody annoying as I have vouchers for amazon and I don't want to spend them on stuff I don't want just to use them up.

Are you trying to buy from Amazon or from one of those marketplaces?
Items Amazon might send to Ireland might not be sent by the, sometimes, cheaper marketplace.

Only way around would be getting it sent to a mate in the UK, some other members here got stuff sent to belfast with a dublin address but I would not advise it.

There is a thread on restrictions here.

This is for amazon.co.uk selling themselves.

If it is the marketplace it is because most UK based Amazon sellers will simply not ship to Ireland. I've questioned a few and the general response is that its not worth the hassle because the shipping cost is perceived to be so high.

It is Amazon's decision not to ship Fulfilled by Amazon products to Ireland.

I tried to buy a tripod from an Amazon seller who do sell to Ireland (I checked) but Amazon Checkout would not let me proceed. Got "Sorry, can't deliver to you, you must be Irish or something" message.

    Contacted Amazon, who said
All items that are offered on our website labeled “Fulfilled by Amazon” can only be shipped to delivery addresses in the United Kingdom. This includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately it does not include Channel Island delivery addresses.
    So, they win.

If it's being sold by a seller on Amazon Marketplace, what does Fulfilled by Amazon mean? Never heard this before.

Always thought fulfilled by amazon ,meant amazon were responsible for shipping the goods.
Sometimes amazon seem to hold the stock of market place sellers??.

OP ,try and use the lower left section to show only amazon.co.uk as the seller.
Sometimes amazon will show the lowest price of an item ,which might be a market place seller.
