Hey guys, first time posting here. Just wondering I'm about to go on study leave and trying to plan where I'll study. Its exam time for a lot of college students so UCD, Trinity are all pretty busy I'd imagine. Do you know if you can join these libraries or are there any other places around? Living in an apartment with friends so no chance of studying at home. Love to hear ppl's ideas!

    Thanks
    Tedz

you could try NCI in the ifsc, its about 90euro for a yr pass..didnt use it myself but a lot of ppl i worked with used it,

probably worth the investment cos ul get nothin done in the apt but i dunno how busy it will be getting around this time of year considering exams..

TCD will be finished in a week, UCD in about 2. You've only just gone on study leave, relax for a bit then go to the uni's when they're quiet

unless your a graduate of trinity you wont be able to get in, access is for current and past students only i.e. no public membership

Think you can buy a pass for UCD and DCU tho and NCI as mentioned. NCI prob sounds like the best option, €90 is pretty reasonable!

UCD Library is something like 20 euro for a month and 30 euro for the year.

It's only €30 for the year if you went there I think, it's more expensive if you didn't

NCI finished exams last week so you would have the library to yourself

You can if you can show that you need something that trinity has that nobody else does. Also if you're already in another college, your library can reference you to get in.
I'm going down tomorrow and I'm in DIT.

Not worth €2, that library is ridiculously loud!

How would someone studying for CAP2 be either enrolled in another university, or prove they needed material only available in TCD?

you can't. only grads of trinity can get access to the library. the other poster referred to access to Trin which he can get because he's in another college. so like i said, unless your a grad of trinity, you wont be able to get access!
