Contact your GRA rep. They usually organise them on retirement i think.

I think they're Genesis pewter in Mullingar. Saw one in a shop window recently, in Cork I think, so they're available on the High Street.

Not sure if it's the GRA or IPA that presents them on retirement.

:D A little bit late I know. However my husband retired three years ago and I searched for the statue becuase it was only issued by the GRA to serving Gardai and not Sergeants or above. I couldn't believe it when I came accross it in a shop today. It is made by Genesis and retails at €70.00. I just bought one for my man for his birthday. Better late than never!! It apparently was released on sale for the general public in January of this year. Horray! Great gift. Regards
