    Yeah sort of but there's not many people to see! Just one other person in Ireland and a friend in Germany. So it doesn't come in handy at all, and knowing where the other people are feels like stalking them.

    There's a thing called Glympse which gives anyone you want a short term view of your location which make a lot more sense (but I haven't used it)

    Have had it on the Gogle Maps on my Nokia for a while. None of my other GTalk contacts realy use it though although they have occasionally used it to check where I am up to if I'm late to meet them but they haven't shared their locations so it makes for a pretty lonely map.

    Iv got 10 or 11 inc 2 staff on it and im liking it

    Latitude will become deadly when I'm meeting up with friends in town - no need to keep ringing where they are now.... It also saves me having the OH constantly ringing me up asking where I am when driving home from down the country.

    HA.... If you go to settings you can do the following;
    • show best location (exactly where you are if satnav is on)
    • Show where you are by your nearest mast
    • Show what town your in
    • Set your location (ie your home, work etc.)
    • hide your location

    I've used Android to race people to destinations when we're headed through Dublin on different modes of transport.
