Hi, recently i purchased a HTC Legend and noticed yesterday that the 3G Coverage has completely dropped:mad:. Had full coverage in a rural town in Limerick, but since i returned to a city suburb i have had no 3G at all? Have tried restating the phone, removing the battery etc.

I haven't tried a hard reset but i don't think it's the sim card as it worked perfectly in my old phone (N73).

So does anyone have any advice?? Thanks in advance.:)

can you check the apn settings?

menu --> settings --> wireless networks --> mobile networks --> APN

whats listed in there? when I put in my voda sim it picked this up automatically but I've seen these apn's dissapearing randomly before!

It has vodafone Live! and vodafone MMS. Settings are perfect it's just it's extremely slow on GPRS compared to 3.5G

yeah gprs is is a dog - unfortunately vodafone don't have an edge network to fall back on so when there is no 3g signal you are stuck with gprs :/

looks like signal issue so - have you tried another phone? I get poor vodafone coverage in some areas of dublin city when indoors in particular and it goes to gprs - bah!
