    Hi, I live ijust across the border in the north and I have a UK ID card will the niteclubs in Dundalk accept this as a means of ID?

    I doubt it, most only accept drivers licence/passport or Garda ID.

    I'm sure they'd accept a UK passport in a border town.

    Friend of mine uses his all the time and has no trouble.(That I know of)

    I'm pretty sure they'll accept a UK age card, they usually also accept student ID cards even at weekends

    of course they will.As a border town its the norm these days.
    A Tip for you though,if you have loads of mates with you,dont go in big groups to ANY Dundalk nite-club!!! And defnitly not Ridleys,you will have no chance of getting in.Small groups of 3/4.
