...and then forget what it was when you log on to boards?

I was busy earlier today fixing some coding bugs in work and I remember having a great idea for an AH thread. But I didn't have time to post it then, so I said to myself "Remember this and post it later when you get home". Well, I got home, and have been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to remember what it was I wanted to post.

    Damn my terrible mid-term memory.

Actually, damn my terrible short-term memory as well.

And damn my terrible mid-term memory.

I have a feeling that this thread will descend into a discussion about something menial like cake.

But anyway, yeah, i've done that several times.

Ive often spent about 20 minutes typing something then hit the submit button only to be greeted by the login screen which basically means my post is gone and lost forever.

    Drives I crackers!!!!!

What's worse is thinking you have a good idea, getting half way through posting and then realise it's shít anyway.

It gets worse when you're doing moderatorial stuff. I went and picked out a bunch of posts, link backs, thanks counting and breaking down of links for a solid hour yesterday and lost it all cos the poxy fecking charger wasn't plugged into the stinking bastard laptop. Load of cock.

Also, spent an hour this morning doing a photo for the AH Photoshop comp and just finished adding touches to it there now.

Then just as I was about to post it, I see there is a similar themed pic there now, that was added this afternoon.

    Doh!!

I'm using Firefox, happens me all the time.

Also, if you keep hitting the back button, the text should still be there anyway for you to cut and paste.

Set up your warning thing on your laptop so when it's at 10% or something you can get the charger :)

Did somebody mention cake? I just had some banana bread - yum. Though technically, it's not really a bread - more of a cake-bread hybrid.

Or when there is a new thread just put up and it gives you a great idea for another thread... But it's too similar to the one that was just put up so you would just look plain ridiculous starting another thread so alike the first one
