Just noticed on a few different threads and websites that if certain french clubs win there respective comps (HC/Amlin) that another side from a different country will get thru to the HC. Have already heard Connacht and Gloucester. Anyone able to shed light on this?

If Cardiff win Scarlets will make it. If Toulon win then the extra place goes to the highest ranked club which hasn't already qualified. Scarlets and Gloucester have the same number of points so I'm not sure how that's decided.

Gloucester will make it in apparently, on countback.
