Nick Watney at 60/1 looks a great bet to me and also KJ Choi at 50/1

beware ladbrokes are only 1st 5 most others are paying 1st 6..

going for a couple of outsiders for my golf betting tips this weekend lads.

Kenny Perry hasn't been having much of a season but this course quite suits his high draw when the wind stays down. weather forecast suggest he should be alright on that front.

My other outsider is JB Holmes. He has had a couple of decent finishes here and is playing better than the scoreboards would always suggest this season.

    JB Holmes @ 140/1
    Kenny Perry @ 150/1

    Casey for top 6 maybe?

Fuyrk and McIlroy are my headline picks.

Massive outsider watch - Ross Fisher.

    Full preview on blog.

Toms and Tim Clark e/w both at 100/1

Has been mentioned here already a couple of times. Furyk has a very good record round here. With most bookies paying 6 places he is a monster price at 20's and I'm well stuck in.

Think Phil will be very hard to beat this week.

    Michelson win
Curtis, Rollins, Weir, Dustin Johnson and a small bet on Fred Funk all e/w

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 326 ✭✭DK224

I've gone for Phil too, as well some e/w money on Kevin Na and Jeff Flauk

I really hope Kaymer doesn't feature here. He's the 1 I had pegged for this at whopper odds, until he went under the knife a few weeks back. I couldn't possibly have backed him after almost a month off. He's off to a good start.

Ian Poulter is another 1 that has been out so wasn't considered. I'm only seeing now though that he is out with Tiger Woods. Nothing he'd like more than to out shine Tiger. He may indeed be one to watch. 36 hole leader E/W perhaps....

good start for JB today. Long way to go of course and it is extremely bunched.

Kenny started v well but has dropped a shot so back to -3 after 12. Come on Kenny!!

Gone for Davis Love III still available at 100-1 and Charley Hoffman 80-1 Love has a very good record around here.

I've got Phil at 11-1, KJ Choi at 50-1 and Ryuji Imada at 60-1, kinda wish I backed Westwood!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,591 ✭✭✭skeleton_boy

    K.J. Choi e/w @ 28/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,235 ✭✭✭Dave147

Tbh can't see Mickelson winning this one, I think Lee Westwood will hold his nerve and do it, but 2-1 isn't enough value for me after 2 days play..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,984 ✭✭✭Degag

Michelson tearing it up. -4 through 7

The Funk also doing very well. Was -6 through 13 but after dropping one.

With Rollins also up there, i'm hopeful of making some money!
