Hi, is it possible to tow a Toyota Cynos with a Punto?

I have tow rope & a 2ton manual winch type thing, would it possible to do?

Also is it illegal to tow your car manually?

    Thanks in advance,

    JJ

I've seen an Audi A3 being towed by a Fiat Seicento in Germany of all places so a Punto towing a Cynos should be childs play in comparrison. If it needs to be towed more than a mile or two, then get a tow truck.

Should have no problems as long as you :

    1. Keep an eye on your temp guage!
    2. Go VERY easy on your clutch
    3. Let the Cynos do 90% of the braking - Make sure Cynos driver knows this!
    4. Keep tension on the rope at all times
    5. Make sure the driver in the Cynos is FULLY insured to drive the Cynos.
6, Hazards ON on both cars
