firefox or windows

hello i have a laptop running windows 7 and yesterday and today the first 2 times i loaded up firefox the laptop froze..had to restart and try again..on the 3rd attempt everything seemed fine..it there a blip with the new firefox 3.5.5 or is it a windows problem ...has anyone else had this issue..thanks

The new firefox is 3.6.3

usually a firefox freeze doesn't affect other apps,
and normally a firefox freeze is because of one of the add ins - have you tried to disable the most recently added ones ?
