Basically what are you doing and how come you go onto boards.

    So I will start.

Im living San Francisco for a Video Games company/Social Networking company.

I use boards not only for my interests but also its one of my many connections to home, and whats happening to my home town.

I'm sure some IT buff on here could find a way for us to plot our city/town locations on Google Maps.

Was using boards before I left the country, continued to do so once I left. Fairly boring really.

Same here - started on boards about four years ago, can't remember why, but it's a good way of keeping up with news/opinion from Ireland that news channels might not cover.

That and looking for secret messages telling when the heat is off and I can come home.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

In Australia currently. Been using in for a couple of years but from being back home in Ireland. Mainly because of the Nintendo section how I got hooked and when I went searching for anything on the net a link to boards came up. Used to love a good read of the personal issues also because no matter how blue I felt there was always another poor soul a lot worse off than me.

    I am in the Netherlands.

Am on boards because I lived in Ireland for two years

    (and looking to come back)

I used boards briefly in Ireland then remembered it one day when bored out of my skull at work in Holland. I live in France now and couldn't really do without the link to home and regular laughs that boards provides.

    Schadenfreude!

I've been using boards on and off for years, I moved to London in October and I kinda like the link with home since I don't read Irish newspapers over here

What if I'm making this post whilst on a plane over the Atlantic?

I wouldn't be in any country.

I'm in Vancouver, Canada at the moment. Used Boards when I was back home in Ireland when I was bored, or to lazy to do anything productive. Its a good way to keep up to date with whats happening in the old country.

You mean I'd be subject to RyanairLand's laws? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

I'd rather stick an Iranian flag on the side of the plane before boarding.

I was born in Dublin 1961

Art school in London, and moved to US in my mid-20's, first Bay Area then Seattle. Worked in Tech as an Artist.

Family and property in Galway and I go back at least twice a year. I'm missing home more and more as I get older.

I love boards. It keeps me in touch.
