There's lots to be said for both really. Square probably has the nicer living room/kitchen and they're a tiny bit bigger but Halls couches are much better, the ones in Square are basically planks of wood. The bedrooms are pretty much identical but Square probably has the better bathrooms.

I've found security to be a bit more lenient in Square, the guys in Hall can be a bit iffy from time to time. That all said though last time I checked Halls is the cheaper of the two, so in the end it's up to yourself whether you think Square would be worth the extra cash.

I'd also be booking them as soon as you can tbh. There was never any rush last year (I dont think Square even sold out all their apartments last year), but they've dropped their prices a fair bit this year to ensure that doesn't happen, so they're bound to be a bit more popular this time around.

Square's closer, barely. Hall is quieter, from what I noticed, more or less.

I'm in Halls..As student accommodation goes it's grand and it's quite here for the most part too!! I've never had a problem with security..they never seem to be around tbh!! If you book by the middle of May that'd be time enough!!
