Is it possible to purches a restricted firearm from abroad is there a lot of paperwork involved. The cost of a handgun seemes to be a lot cheaper. For example a glock34 in usa $570 or 431euro in ireland 810euro i'm sure it would not cost the differance between the two 391euro for shipping and the paperwork ??? What is the process for importing a handgun.

You first have to ask yourself how to get a license.

Then ask yourself where to buy the firearm.

    Chicken - then egg.

Without being totally inscrutable, simply put:

With pistols: You can't. Not any more. Door is closed.

Unless you had one before 19/11/2008 that is.

Even then, you just get to keep what you have...

So the price is the least of your problems, not at any price would be the answer.
