TCC Gameshow?

Does anyone remember a videogameshow thingy that TCC used to run in between their programmes? It wasn't as big as GAmesmaster or anything but they had a few kids in the studio around this big pyramid yoke playing games like football or fighting? I remember one of them was a Street Fighter and this kid just kept doing the Bison trick with the slides and the presenter was quite incredulous like "Oh can you be proud of yourself after winning like ?!".

Thats Street Fighter fight rings a bell alright, though Im nearly sure that was a Gamesmaster special before Turbo was released on the Snes.

Was called Head To Head. Violet Berlin presented it (she used to present Bad Influence as well, also remember being able to play as her in Micro Machines 2..) I actually remember the episode you were talking about as well, that kid was all kinds of annoying.

Hah I used to watch that. It was also dreadful. It was a cartoon wasn't it? and the intro and outro featured some live action stuff of the two guys in their apartment.

What's the M Bison sliding trick? I might be doing something wrong but I always found the slide to be a curse... You're so vulnerable after someone blocks it (unlike Vega or Dhalsim)

No.. I'm pretty sure they had a show were they had kids competing against each other at Super Mario Brothers.

Ha.. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting confused with the movie The Wizard as well.

If you keep doing it you still damage them even if they're blocking. At least that's how I think it went...

That Violet Berlin looks a lot like Guile in the clip.

Yeah I figured that wasn't it, The Wizard did come to mind though! Loved that film when I was a kid and spent ages trying to hunt it down on dvd, finally found it last month in a book shop in Boston
