There was a similar tread I came across previous regarding wall build up but have not been able to locate it second time around:(

This was suggested to me as a possible wall build up, any opinions would be appreciated, I had not seen this suggested previously hence the post.

    Starting Exterior to interior
    A) Block outer is our exterior preference
    B) 50mm cavity
    C)wind barrier layer & OSB3 9 .5 mm
    D)184mm @ 400C pumped with cellulose
    E) Siga membrane stapled to frame with battons on the horizontal
    F) 50mm service cavity insulated with hemp or other breathable option
    G) 9.5mm OSB3 and plaster board attached directly.

    (G) is appealing in or fixing down the line( would have to check load baring capacity of OSB3 for kitchen units etc but fine for lighter objects)

    My concerns
I had read previously that pumping celleous in this manner might not be the ideal method i.e. a better option would to to pump between more ridged layers to illiminate possible sagging or bulging.
The VCL is very exposed for possible damage.
Intello has been recommended by other companies as a VCL since its a more intelligent material and appears to be though a more breathable option.
No U-value on this yet as it was just an initial discussion and more about keeping costs down.

Would having 15mm OSB3 taped be a better option than (E),but I'm not sure on cost implication of this yet.
It was previously said in a discussion on another forum that if 15mm OSB3 taped was used as a VCL layer that the exterior layer layer had to be 1/3 more vapour open,so is it still acceptable to use (A)+(B) in this if OSB was used as VCL:confused:
