Breaks and Amount of Hours Working?

I've recently started a new job, and I'm curious about the hours I'm doing. I work 9-6, 9 hours, but only get a half hour lunch break. Contract says its a 40 hour week. I get a 15min break in the morning and evening but I thought you're entitled to this anyway. Anyone know if I am actually entitled to a longer lunch break?

You are entitled to your breaks but not to be paid for them, I think.

Comes up here alot, its a 15minute break after 4 hours

Nope, all those breaks are correct and meet the legal requirements.
