Hi, I am contemplating doing AITI exams. Before I go any further I was hoping someone might be able to give me an insight into whether there are jobs in this area?. As I dont want to come out and have nothing.

There is not much work in tax at the moment, but tax is one of the few guarantees in life so there will always be some work in tax. Tax exams are usually done supplementary to accountancy exams but not always. If you're just starting your working career you can epect to earn about €20k pa. after that it's slow and steady wins the race im afraid.
