Should I seal my concrete paths

Not sure if this is in the correct category, feel free to move if approriate.

Our house is about four years old and has the usual concrete path around the perimeter, about four foot wide. Apart from looking a bit weathered the concrete is now also a bit mouldy and blackened in places. Scrubbing with a solution of Jeyes fluid has helped but I'm just wondering would it help to seal it with Polybond or the like. I'm presuming that a sealed finish would make it less susceptible to mould, etc. Any opinions? Thanks.
