a frosty freezer

    it is an chest freezer and I can see that there is always a build up of ice where the lid meets the main body of the freezer.
    Should I just put up withn it or can I solve the problem at all.(removing the deposit doesn't stop it coming back very quickly)
    Can you get replacement seals? (I imagine they stiffen after a few years and don't fit as tightly)

    Put a heavy weight on the lid, this helps and costs less than a new freezer.
