I really wish they would get rid of that.

I have no wish to listen to bells ringing for a minute before the news.

It was the best one of the series. The character development was immense and we really got to see how introspective the main characters were. I really don't know how they will top that episode. Maybe give us another donnnngggg and push it back an hour?

I hope they don't cancel it, it is one of Irelands top rated shows!

I usually just change the channel.
But in this day and age....do we really need a minute of bells to tell us to have some sort of religious reflection.

    It's really just irritating.

The church has far too much influence still.

Yeah OP saw this had a chuckle about it!

What was funnier when i was in the pub later that evening talking to one of my fathers friends he told me he was in a house with a christmas tree still up and the christmas angelus on the TV, he had to double check the date.

This was as RTE had to biggest news stories of 09 on the TV freaking him out even further! :D

Well it helps you to reflect on what irritates you. You will also note that the bells are slow being drowned out by water running (did you leave the tap on?), traffic (are you late home?), birds (did you let the cat out?), cows mooing (did you have your recomendend daily dose? or for farmers did you milk the cows?) and then there are the bells (is life driving you mad? the bells, the bells!).

    "2-3-4..."

    I'm a rolling thunder, a pouring rain
I'm comin' on like a hurricane
My lightning's flashing across the sky
You're only young but you're gonna die
I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
    Nobody's putting up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you

Cant have the angelus on in this house - the dog goes wild! She starts howling and crying and it's pitiful to listen to her. Have no idea why she does it and I want no comments on satan!:D:D
