    Hey guys..
Im new to boards but hope ye can help me...:)
last friday week the 22april i got my lower right wisdom tooth removed! When i came home my tooth was sore but i was expecting it just got it pulled but by tue the pain was unreal!! Went to my dentist and said id dry socket and put clove oil dressing in to it, the relief was instant but lasted only bout 30mins:( and the dressing was after falling out that eve.had to go back up to the hosp that took it out the next and they packed it again with the clove oil dressing. That dressing is in now in with 5 days and hasnt come out. The pain has gone way down but still a bit there on the bone of the gum, the hole is closing up do. The dentist said nothing to me bout coming back to get the dressing out....does the hole just close up with this dressing inside? or does it need to be taken out? be gatefull if someone could let me kno!!!
    Thanks....:D

hrough the worst of it. I had dry socket when I got my wisdom teeth out and I agree, the pain is unreal. But it does pass and in a couple of weeks you'll be happy you got it done.
