hey,im only now starting to bet..I was wondering can anyone explain what yankee 11 and 15 are...i know its a mix of singles, doubles, trebles and quads, but how exactly do you win

lets say you bet on 4 different games...
If all of them win,you obviously win,but lets say if only 1,2 or 3 of them win, what happens then?

Iv heard betfair give better odds than paddypower.is this true and also whats the minimum betting on their website..is it 4 euro.

Finally they have an offer at the moment where you can get 30e refunded if your first bet loses on betfair.

I was wondering waht does settled mean?
    The definition they give is
settled" means a bet that has been fully accepted by Betfair in a market that has been settled on a result with all due winnings paid out.

You've lots of questions, but you've come to the right place.

A yankee consists of 11 bets - 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 accumulator/four-fold. So if 3 of your selections win, you get paid out on 3 doubles and 1 treble. If only two win you get paid on 1 double and the rest lose.

Betfair have better odds than paddypower on almost everything, except sports multiples. Their horse multiples are better. The min bet on Betfair is two euro but you can get past that with little a know how.

When they say settled it just means that the event you bet on has finished.

how do you mean finished...surely you cant bet if its "finished"..Sorry for the obvious just im not too sure..

What about a yankee 15 when you also include singles..Do you not win anything unless 2 pay off still?
    thanks so far as well

To get round the minimum bet: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054910815

Oh a lucky 15, I think? You get paid on 1 single if you've one winner, if you've two winners, you get paid on 2 singles and 1 double, and so on... Some bookies will give you treble the odds on the single if you've only one winner as well.

Ehm.... when the race/match is over, the bookie ''settles'' your bet, as in pays you any winnings or marks it as a loser.

The final question is about the refund if you lose your first 30euro.Thats crucial for me as ill just throw down 30 euro on a match with not a care in the world if i know it will get refunded to me anyway:D

Yep, if you lose it'll be refunded into your account as cash which you can withdraw straight away.
