Good earphones

Hi,

I'm looking to get a good quality pair of earphones, some that will last for ages (i;e, longer than a few weeks/months Can anyone suggest something?

Usually I get a pair for about €15 and they'll only last 2-3 months.

I use earphones every day, for about 10 hours (maybe even longer).

I'd need these to use on my iPod and laptop.

I'm willing to spend upto €50 for a good quality pair that will last. I'm willing to go over €50 if they are good and will last for a good while.

I'd prefer earphone like theses (i.e; earphones that will 'go into' the ear).

Can anyone help?

The X1s are good earphones for their price, but Klipsch are rather infamous for flimsy cables so if you're looking for sturdy earphones I would not recommend them.

Those Meelectronics look like beauts, liking the durable looking cord. Might have grabbed those if I hadn't already ordered a different pair.

I'm not a fan of those in ear yokes as I believe the decieve your ear into thinking the source signal is quiter then it really is. I had a pair that were pushing 93dB at level that I would use my normal headphones at, the ones Im linking too.

Sony have a silver version of those. Better magnets, bass heavy in a nice way and reasonably clear. If you want headphones to listen to music well Id get a set of those, or go mad and get some Beyerdymanic DT150's, but they are a bit big

if you get a decent set of in-ear's you actually listen to music with lower volume as the in-ears create a seal to block out surrounding noises, don't know what he's talking about them being deceiving, in fact they are quite the opposite.
