It's nowhere near as good as the book - Pet Semetary is my favourite book of all time and the movie just doesn't come close, but its still a good one to watch...

    100% agreed.
Though quite enjoyed needful things and while on Stephen king... I think one of his best was "Hearts in Atlantis" again film let it down greatly

The film is great but the book is so much better! You should definitely read it.

Stephen King said that he can't even remember writing Pet Semetry because of his alcohol addiction. The book he admits is one of the darkest things he has ever written and initially did not want to publish it.

Reading It at the mo and looking forward to watching the movie once im done.

Did he write Pet Semetary 2? Or was just movie producers banking on a stupid film?

*Ive read the book, the "first" one. class".

The movie exists but King didn't write it.

I read it first when I was about 14 - once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down until I finished, it was so good... Gave me nightmares for weeks though...
